Nose and palate show bold, intense flavours of plum, blackberry, and raspberry, backed by oaky notes of chocolate and vanilla. Palate is firm and bitter, with strong, woody tannins (a nice counterpoint to the ripe fruit and new oak).

Still in good form. Elegant, east to drink. Not the robust, heavy hitting typical Barossa Shiraz but still a nice wine.

It’s ok and certainly inoffensive. Lacks the boldness of a Barossa Shiraz. Hard to see how aging is going to help that much but we’ll see!

Rich dark colour and lingering berries on the back of the pallet a very good shiraz
