  • Peppery, dried flowers, darker blue-black character w blackberry and plum fruit, eventually some dark cherry. M acid, M tannin, M body. Shows some mild alcohol, finished a bit simple with a touch of astringency. Drinking pretty well but still showing pretty good acidity and tannins and I think may evolve further. This was my only bottle so I won’t find out. Not a great value for $49 retail but very good for $19 WineText price, wish I’d bought another bottle or two for casual dinners. Had this with mushroom pizza from domino’s. ~6.5/10

  • This was really good. It has the sort of tension I love in Oregon pinots where the fruit and minerality is really well balanced. It took an hour or so to get there, but once it hit it's stride I really couldn't put it down. The finish is a little short, but for the price (on WineText) this is outstanding. I should have bought more!
