Deep yellow. Floral nose with hint of petrol. Citrus, green apple with a tinge of saline minerality. Medium length and body. Acid still going strong for a QbA.

Really nice right now. A screwtop gem with nice balance, nice acidity that almost tingles, but not quite, pretty floral nose, just a touch of sweetness. A very nice pairing with fish biryani. I could see something with a bit more sweetness doing even better, but I was very happy with this.

this bottle was the best of the 3 I have had; More time in storage? Balance was actually quite good, with the acid and fruitiness building on one another which the other bottles did not do. Fruit never really showed distinct flavors but seemed to have a nice sweet character yet the acid was the main show here. The middle had a good full mouth and the finish was bright and tingling.
I still struggle that such good grapes were put into a wine that hides all the tropical and citrus fruit flavors....but I also realize that is not the style of the time.

I continue to try to get past my bias against dry Rieslings but I still struggle and this is one of the better examples. I tasted some nice hints in this but the lack of sweetness and excess acidity just steal away all the beautiful fruit flavors and balance of a classically made Riesling. My guess this could have been 5 points better if it was made classically.

Crisp acidity, fresh yellow fruits, petrol/oil, grilled lemons, salty minerals.
