  • First time drinking this wine, indeed first time drinking the three indigenous grape varieties - Fiano Minutolo, Falanghina and Greco used to make this well priced, good quality wine. Can be found at Liberty Wines, London.

The overwhelming floral character of this wine is what first strikes you, somewhat reminiscent of Argentinian Torrontés, with intense fragrant orange blossom accompanied by white peach, lime citrus, pears and yellow apple aromas/flavours.

There is a fresh, bracing acidity to balance the overtly floral nature. For me the wine is best served with food, either grilled shellfish or chicken in a cream sauce.

One for long summer evenings - very drinkable, but may split the crowd!

  • I enjoyed the 2014 immensely, so now the 2015 vintage is a bit of a disappointment. Still, it's a solid white blend and for the price range of 5-10 EUR a good wine. Enough said.
