What a cool wine. Identifiable pretty immediately as an excellent non-Meursault white, but otherwise difficult to place (which isn't surprising given the specificity of the vineyard). Delicious from the get-go and a wine I wish I had bought more of before the market went crazy.

442/886. Fun to revisit after almost four entire years. Pear and peach with very good pinching acidity. 92

Liger Belair Dinner - La Paulee 2019 (Eleven Madison Park): 793/886. So much minerals, stone, citrus and and spice on the nose, with a dimensional palate. 94

Reductive. Right, intense, piercing acidity.

Has delicious white peach fruit. There’s a lemon sherbet quality to the wine and it has excellent shape and length.
