Secondary and tertiary notes dominate. A forever finish! Definitely a sipping wine. Serve at 16 C for best notes. A few more years for full development 😜

Great Cabernet. Coravined two glasses and let sit for 90 minutes. This wind is smooth, full bodied, and has deep fruit flavors but its not overly fruity. I think this could go for a very long time.

Decanted 2 hours and finished off over the next 2. Been a couple of years I think since my last '13 of this. Was hoping this would move more but it hasn't. Still stuck in '13 limbo, it seems. Even though its alc is listed at 14.9% it feels higher because the deep, dark black fruit is still so restrained. At 4 hours of air this improved a bit. These would seem to need more time.
Jen-a-palooza with Paul, Mark and Carol; 10/22/2021-10/24/2021 (Atlanta): I was really excited to drink this one as I have had younger Ehrlich wines which have been fantastic. And with B Cellars how can you go wrong? I guess my expectations were too high because this one never got there for me. Alcohol was very noticeable, tannins were astringent on the finish and overshadow the fruit, and not much other complexity. Perhaps will develop with time but I am wondering if (like Mike Smith wines) these B Cellars are not meant to age.

Smooth and silky. 3 hr decant. Plummy and berry at a modest level. Long finish and it is just great.
