Glistening crimson. Pretty much as expected: mineral, earthy, on the lean side, but beautifully perfumed (rose, spice, strawberry) and extremely drinkable. Quite a bit of sweet red fruit - like raspberries dusted in icing sugar - to be found if one searched for it, but the overall impression was still overwhelmingly of a tart and earthy wine. Fine, powdery tannins remained evident on the lean, mean and lingering finish. Very grown-up rather than at all hedonistic, but I enjoyed it more without food (was opened for some crispy duck) as it deserved my full attention.

Ruby with light translucence. Nose orange peel, cherries, lightly cinnamon/herbal. Palate red cherries, high acidity, some chalky tannins. Very nice with a simple pan-fried fish dish

Spiced and extremely perfumed nose of potpourri, nag champa, hibiscus, juniper, and a touch of organic earth. Ripe strawberry, crushed stone, navel orange to taste. Lifted and acidic, dusty tannins. Gorgeous.

Floral, young, berries on the palate, marginal tannins. Splash decanted half the bottle to see it evolve a little over an hour. i ll lay down the next few to see if it develops

Strugling with 2014 and even more with this cru who takes time to unfold. Will keep the rest of the bottle for tmw and see where it goes
