  • Although having a expressive fruit-forward nose, on the palate, I found this wine to be quite balanced. The fruit did not overpower the fine tannin and acidity, yielding a long exciting finish. On the day after the bottle was opened, the wine was even more integrated and balanced. Great paired with a rib eye steak at Ruth's Chris.

  • A big step up in quality and complexity from the single vineyard cabs we tasted at the winery--of course the others were of recent vintage. Excellent drinking right now.

  • 95+ Delicious wine at least equal to the other ratings. Enjoyed tonight to celebrate a Family celebration. Defintely drinking well in early 2022.

  • Stunning Dark Ruby with oak, cassis, blueberry on the nose. On the palate, dark fruits, vanilla, mocha, rich raspberry and a hint of plum. Lush mouth feel, well balanced tannin with smooth oak afternotes. Simply elegant, VERY special. Pine Ridge's BEST effort, can still develop for a few years, but well within its drinking window. Paired with Prime Filet, red wine reduction, brought it to a new level.

  • This wine is amazing. My wife and I have had 3 bottles of this and can't imagine how they could improve this. Spotswoode has nothing on this. Concentrated dark fruit nose, explosive mouthful of glycerin, dark currants, slightly over-ripe blackberry, and chocolatey tannins mid-palate to a long, long finish. Wow! Don't know how a Napa Cabernet could be any better. Game-on. Who knows of a better Napa cab than this?
