  • Clear, quite dark strawberry juice rosé color. Expressive, dry and savory nose with interesting aromas of red currant, gooseberry, some tangerine, a little jasmine, a hint of grassy greenness and a touch of sweet cookie dough. Full-bodied and soft palate with very modest acidity but also pronounced bitterness. Succulent flavors of ripe strawberry, sweet raspberry, stony minerality, some herbal notes, a little unripe, tart lingonberry and a hint of cherry candy. Spicy and quite bitter finish with flavors of tart lingonberry, gooseberry, some strawberry juice and a hint of stony minerality.

A fun, easy and smooth rosé with surprisingly pronounced quinine bitterness. Tasty little sipper but quite simple and straightforward for a Musar - as the Jeune series wines tend to be. Otherwise nice on its own, but after awhile you start to feel that it would be nice if there was something edible to counterbalance the bitterness.
