Still lovely and beautifully balanced; paired well with pesto topped salmon. The nose shows bright red fruits, a bit of funk and earth, and hints of floral notes and spice. The palate is still young and lithe with great acidity and this balances the richness of the pesto nicely.
Definitely more open and a bit more integrated than my last bottle; the palate now shows some candied cherry and strawberry with spice and earth. Tasted a glass and will hold the rest of the bottle until tomorrow to re-evaluate.

Really good, but a bit young right now. The nose is closed initially, but becomes beautiful with slightly darker fruits than a lot of Eyrie, lots of spice and hints of damp earth. The palate is tight and reticent, but starts to show a little of the promise towards the end of the bottle (decanted for 45 min prior to drinking with dinner). Lovely balance and a harmonious finish. Wait 2-3 years for this and it should be great.
