This is still drinking really well! It has some life yet as I used an aerator to push out some of the acidity still.
Well rounded and full of fruit.

Nose was subtle at first, but after a good swirl...blackberry, black cherry, cassis, star anise...but dis dissipates quickly. Very soft on the plate. Nice acidity, but could use a bit more. Medium long finish. Probably better a year ago, still nice.

A bit disappointing, actually. Usually a fan of Andrew Murray, but this one seemed flat, alcoholic, with a very metallic tasting. Lots of musty, dirty notes in the aroma as well. Seriously underwhelmed.

Rich dark color, ripe prune and raisin nose. Juicy fruit flavors with a hint of spice and cocoa. Very nice example of Santa Barbara syrah.
