Opened about an hour prior to dinner. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark red berries, plums and hints of sandalwood. The finish was moderate to long.

Bravo.....just drinking so well! Loads of dark fruits with a good tannic spine that leaves a slight residual at the back of the palate. This dissipates with each glass as the fruit flavours take over and dominate. Great length and great acidity. There is a sweetness and fullness in taste to this wine now and this will keep improving over time. Excellent! A fantastic v well made village better than several 1er Cru Gevreys I have tasted from the 2014 vintage.
