No decant but pulled the cork an hour before dinner of duck confit. Dark color. Chambolle red fruits dominate. Lots and lots of flavor layers typical of a Premier Cru. Very good vs Villages. 2014 was so great. Fresh fruits dominate. Love this.

Decanted 40 minutes then poured back in the bottle. 1/4 glasses poured before dinner. First sip….WoW. Very full, extracted with lots of flavor layers. Fullness is awesome. I have the 2014 Faiveley Villages Chambolle and it is garbage. Amazing the difference between the Villages and 1er Cru. Night and day. This is an excellent 1er Cru and way worth the extra money.

Dark and red fruit intermixed, some spices as well. Elegant and fresh as the 2014s come. Medium- finish, I wished for some more aromatic complexity.
