  Did a P&P on this. Intense, beautiful red cherry on the nose, leading to a full bodied mid palate of earthy tones. The finish was delightful with just the right amount of tannins. Very enjoyable.
  
  The bottle did not last long enough to comment on how it was after being open for a while, but unlike another comment here we enjoyed this right from the first pour. Perhaps it needed the extra bit of aging?

  When this opens up, it is great. Never liked it on multiple "pop" tastings- then I gave it a chance. Had half a bottle of this Pinot, over an hour, after recorking it 8 hours prior, after a hour-long tasting. Proclamation - decant this- It turns into my silky smooth strawberry, slightly tart red cherry pinot noir love. It is still not the best I've ever had as far as pinot. It falls well below the ZD wines Pinot noir I tasted, so point adjustments will be made.
