Light-bodied, high acid Pinot with vibrant ripe red fruit. Good food wine. It paired well slightly chilled with roast salmon. Good value at the $14 Garagiste mystery sale price.

Popped and poured. Enjoyable light bodied, crunchy red fruited pinot that still had a good amount of concentration and even some slightly earthy, savory flavors coming through. Mix of various red berry fruits on the palate with medium to medium+ acid. A little thin on the mouthfeel and finish but overall very solid pinot and an excellent QPR at the sale price paid.

I'm assuming that this is about as ripe as the Wind Gap pinots get. That said, it's still far more elegant and restrained than the vast majority of California pinot I've had. Color: Clear medium ruby Nose: Very juicy cherry and ripe raspberry, with some old cedar box. Palate: Medium+ acid, medium tannin, medium body. Sweet red fruits continue - juicy cherry, raspberry, strawberry. Finishes with about medium length.

Drinking really well - but with more of a cool climate Grenache nose than a pinot nose (licorice, raspberry, some sweet fruit and a bit of a alcoholic bite at the end, which does not disturb). Quite big but really delish nevertheless.

Charming just as my last bottle, sad that these bottles are disappearing!
