Still good with plenty of botrytized apricot but, losing its verve with bitter wood tannin finish coming on. 24 hours to open fully. Time to drink up... Na zdrowie

Deep golden colour. Ripe fruits dominate together with honey: Apricot, peach, and pear. The nose is really quite seductive. Almost syrupy mouthfeel and certainly sweet enough. By no means the epitome of freshness, but a decent acidity and nice complexity saves the wine in terms of balance. The finish is medium (+).
More of a dessert in itself than a great food pairing though, but a great dessert it is!

Sweet but not cloying. Dried sweet apricots and peach. Long delicious finish. Good stuff.

Very mature Sauternes profile of secondary favors. Interesting and complex. Not very sweet.

Seattle Wine Group - Dec 2014 Tasting - Theme: CA Cabs (Amaroso Room - Wine Storage Bellevue): Nose of apricots and lemon curd. Palate has ripe, dry apricots, honey, and some citrus flavors; long and complex, with a dry, spicy finish. Nice acidity, good balance, and lengthy finish. Really enjoyed this wine.
