  • From the notes below, there seems to be some bottle variation. This one was bright, perhaps a bit lean, and slightly reduced. I like the struck match, flinty nose though. Lots of mineral and almost salty. Chablis-like. Tasty if you like the style.

  • Don’t drink too cold. Once warmed up the nose reveals an oxidative aroma followed by a slight floral notes and roasted apples. The palate has roasted lemon, apples, and a stoney minerality. This is definitely a natural wine and quite enjoyable to those that enjoy the style.

  • Drank it along with 2014 Domaine Chanterêves St. Romain Combe Bazin. Chassorney made this particular terrior with more layers on the palate and lengthier taste. Simply love it.

  • This was my favorite white wine at a natural wine fair held in Chicago earlier this year. I was able to get my hands on a few bottles and I finally got around to opening one earlier this week. I must say it did not impress me as much this time. I am not sure if it was to bottle variation or some other factor. I suppose wine can have good days and bad days like people. Don't get me wrong, it still was a very nice wine. I drank it over two days, but on the second day it was very oxidized. My recommendation is to drink the wine the same day you open it. This is not a hard task
