Medium-light bodied. Cherry, a light floral perfume and some dried vegetation on the nose. Palate was red fruit that faded to sweet spices and earthiness. Perfectly balanced acid, tannins and alcohol.
Drinking incredibly well and a pleasant surprise found in the sale section of the local liquor store.

Four years after the prior and even a tad better. Sour cherry, moss and a hint of balsamic notes, on the palate clean and fresh, medium bodied and a long finish, very elegant.

Decanted two hours before the dinner. Classic and elegant, mature but still very fresh and anything else than tired. Very savory with good length, no hurry to drink.
It is always the same, tasting the young annata and the reserva at the winery, I'm always impressed about the riserva (not only from Anzivino) but when drinking the aged wine, I regret that I did not buy more of the annata.

Burgundian. Tart red fruit with a savory note. Nice.
