EBLC Pinot Noir tasting: Fun Pinot Noir that reminded me so much of a Provence rose. Very floral, and also had that Garrigue notes of lavender and possibly juniper. Rhubarb showed up as well as Strawberry, cherry and yellow Plum. Did have a slight mineral edge that I really enjoyed

Clear very pale garnet. Plastic, strawberry, apple. Medium to low acids, no tannins, not sweet. Grapefruit. Short balanced finish. Maybe held too long?

The wine looks salmon colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like apricot, peach, peach, pear, honeydew, peach blossom and honeysuckle. It tastes like grapefruit. The body is light. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity. The nose on this wine held great promise but it executed poorly as tart and fizzy with almost no flavor.

Nice balance of acid to fruit. Salmon colored, enjoyed with some homemade pizza on a warm late winter afternoon. Would definitely buy again.

bright acidity gives this rose a more citrus flavor than the strawberry usually associated with rose. Very refreshing and food friendly.
