This was enjoyable, but there is no way I would have ever guessed it was a Pinot. It had absolutlely no varietal characteristics, and would have more easily passed for a cabernet or a syrah.

Great aromatics of cola and flowers (violets?) but flavors are surprisingly compressed. Decanted and drank over mulitple hours. Closed fruit and too acidic for my taste and singing just a few clear notes. Not sure what it cost, but wouldn't pay over $30, and even then I think there are many better options. Reminds of 2005 W.H. Smith Maritime without all the oak.
