In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; people speak the truth when they are drunk), bottle #138 of my cellar sacrifices. A 2014 Double Canyon Cab from Horse Haven Hills in Washington. A very good showing from this bottle as the nose was fresh with fruit but not overpowering, medium- to full-bodied and a lasting finish. As you can see on the cork, there was some trace of wine diamonds (tartaric acid), which is a good sign that the wine did not go through complete cold stabilization.🍷🍷👍 👍#wine #winelover #winelovers #redblend #redblendwine #cabernetsauvignon #washingtoncab #doublecanyon

Still fruity, well-rounded with minimal tannins. Drink now or forever hold your peace. I made fun of my wife for buying this on discount for $19 and I regret that

Enjoyed with dinner at Jack Rabbit in Portland OR. Drinking wonderfully. Adequate tanins to support the acid and black fruit. Yet at the same time, this wine is subtle, not an overpowering wine, with a medium mouth feel, more akin to a Russian River syrah then a traditional cab. Of course, this was enjoyed with some food.

Chris liked this better than I did. Has a mild tart bite.
