Drank over 4 hours. Beautiful dark garnet appearance. Nice nose of cherry, forest floor, cola and possibly vanilla?? Excites the sides of the palate and makes the mouth water if not drinking with food (like a cherry flavored Starburst). Medium but nice finish of cherry and spice.

Needs some time in the glass but settles into a great Santa Rita Hills Pinot. Earthy notes come out along with abundant fruit of dried cherries, strawberry and some nice spice notes, seems more balanced (less alcohol) than my original tasting of this wine (not reviewed at that time).

Nice dark fruit with a bit of earthiness. Long finish and at its prime.

This has really come around since the last time I tried it. Spice, coffee, mushroom and candied fruit. Long finish. Nicely balanced. Outstanding.
