I am wondering if there is any difference between this regular Grauburgunder and the Grauburgunder „Edition Sansibar“ except for the label and the price? Not from memory, but I will need to taste them side by side someday. Anyway, this tasting notes is for the regular Markus Schneider Grauburgunder 2015:
Screw cap. The wine was medium lemon in colour and offered peach, kiwi, melon, pear, tangerine and chalk on the fruit-driven nose. On the palate the wine showed citrus, apple, peach, ripe kiwi, melon, tangerine and chalk, with lively, medium-level acidity and very good length. The medium-bodied Pinot Gris was balanced, with good concentration, and drank well. Very good value at only EUR 8,85. Drink young.
