  Decanted for 1 hour prior to consumption.Dark interior turning to a brick red and slight yellow on the rim. Medium/high intensity aromas dominated by tertiary aromas - leather, cigar, clove though there remains some fruit in the form of understated soft blackcurrant. In the mouth the front palate gets the soft blackcurrant. Mid and back palate get acidity on first taste. Softens a bit with food and further still be a second hour of being decanted. A slight sultana taste developed at that point. Overall, the wine was a bit thinner than I was expecting.
