An older white Burgundy. Practically no darkening...a light straw color. Subdued/slight tropical and melon nose. Dry minerally taste w/slight melon flavors, but the friut is mostly gone now. This wine is well past it's prime, and is now a very dry wine that would work only with certain foods such as raw oysters.

Derrald's Tasting (San Francisco, Ca.): Big promise on the nose, more Sulphur in the mouth, good finish, not as polished as the Drouhin today but bigger wine.

The Oddbins Old World Wine Fair; 5/16/1992-5/17/1992 (London): 25% new oak. Good colour and legs. Very full chardonnay nose, with butter and beurre noisette along with a touch of vaguely melon fruit. Smooth and full. Excellent.
