Good wine. But at € 55,- it has the price of a Gevrey-Chambertin or Nuits-Saint-Georges. Nose with spices, smoke and red fruit. Tannic palate. Good acidity and tasty. Long finish.

This one is more powerful and rustic than I was expecting from a Ladoix. Airs to become more delicate with an hour decant. Dark sour cherry and chalk with volatile elegance and subtle notes of oak. Lovely juice and savory on the palate. And with a nice grip of primary fruit.

Ladoix Le Cloud is the entry level red Burgundy of Prieuré Roch. Showing gorgeous clean red currant and earth aromas. Highly aromatic, mouthfilling and bursting on the palate with wild pure pinot fruit. Very exciting, different and delicious!!

Pronounced notes of mushroom, sour cherry, cooked red fruits. Medium tannin, medium acidity. Did not decant. Ready for drinking now. Elegant.
