I’ve had this one before, but a while ago so I thought with some cellaring it would be even better- no surprise. It’s staring to turn a touch garnet but is of pale intensity. The nose is quite pronounced with pomegranate, red cherry, cranberry, barnyard, dried sage and dried red plum. The palate is delicious. Smooth with low tannins, medium acidity , medium body and gobs of flavor. In addition to the red fruits and tertiary notes I also get some rooibos tea. The finish is medium length and chock full of fruit with some super fine tannins. 92 points, drink till 2027. It runs $50 these days which makes it a 4 star wine in my books.

A nose of cherry and spice, garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, raspberry, spiced silky finish, was very good. www.winelx.com

Too bad this was our last bottle. Continues to be a beautiful expression of Willamette Valley PN. Light, bright, and delicate up front, but with real staying power and a long and spicy finish. Looking forward to other vintages to come.

See through pale purple with nice legs in the glass. The nose is all about strawberries. After a good swirl there’s violets and some yellow cherries. On the palate it’s a very smooth rendition of strawberry meets cherry cobbler. A touch of oak is a nice nuance. The mid palate continues the theme and some acidity kicks in. There’s a nice mouthfeel to this wine that carries it on to a decent length finish . I’m digging it and the beercan chicken is gonna pair beautifully. 90 points. Drink till 2026. This wine gets 3 stars for its $40 average price.

Last bottle - Wish I had purchased more of this when it was available at a super QPR.
