I drank a bottle from this case almost 14 months ago, and before that, in 2018. I’m glad I took notes too, so that I could confidently serve it at the correct temperature, which is 67° F. One can hardly find a better example of a wine that defies industrial methodologies of flavor checklist note-taking. Sure, it contains suggestions of almond and fig, pears and brittle stone, fossil salts and honeyed bee-trap botany. But it withholds any of them unter the glare of scrutiny. It’s fresh, active, and expansive in texture. There are lots of little detailed dramas to behold in a drink of it. I’m drawn to the fractured edges of its fat. From the perspective of that juncture, the arcs of fleshy fruit acidity seem all more remarkable. The acid performance deploys trails of sweetness, the kind that bees would have wanted to regurgitate as honey if not for monkeys and their organized appetite for wine.

Full gold colour. Medium nose with wax, cream, ripe yellow apples, melon, salty sea and flint. Medium taste of cream, wax, melon, flint and stems. Medium long and dry finish. Medium (-) acidity. Medium body. An acceptable white blend that lacks structure and has a bitter finish. The greatest disappointment in a rather dull wine pairing at Kastellet, Oslo. Drink now. Goes well with cheeses or fish.

NOSE: apple; "winey"; light notes of wool, hay, and grass; agave nectar.
BODY: light maize color; medium-light to medium bodied.
TASTE: light pear; very mineral driven; medium+ acidity; not enough fruit for my preferences. Gut impression score: mid to high 80's.
