  • A difficult wine to describe. The flavours being well outside of my regular tasting experience. The wine is smooth, but tastes very old fashioned, almost rustic. The fruit is dusty dark plum, with something else I can’t quite identify, maybe acai berry. Those rustic characteristics come in the form of a complex savoury mid-palate, with slightly bitter black olive, oregano, black pepper and dried mixed herbs. The tannins are talc fine and slightly drying. It’s not offensive, but it's not a flavour profile I’m quickly warming to.
