Relatively dry and mineral, but without the delicious precision and energetic punch which e.g. the 2013 had. The nose is quite muted, there is some sève and a herbal note on the palate, but the finish is fuzzy and lacks defintion. Not as good as Rotlack can be and should be; I think Michael Schmidt has overrated this considerably. In the Gutsschänke at Schloss Johannisberg.

Fine, well composed, a bit on the sweet side.
