Thought it was a little high toned for BDX. + acidity and kind of hot. Mix of black and red fruit with some chocolately notes. Wine is opaque. Drinks almost like a CdR

2015 Château Teyssier Montagne Saint-Émilion showed a good combination of ripe dark fruits and oak flavours. It was youthful clear ruby in colour without any sediments. On the nose, there were aromas of ripe dark plum, blackberries and dark cherries, followed by vanilla and toast. The mouthfeel was dry, rather full-bodied, with medium level of acidity and medium level of silky tannin. Flavours of earth, blood and plum were present in the finish of medium length. The blend composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
In a great vintage, like the sunny and dry 2015, Bordeaux could produce delicious wines at every price level from the First Growths to the satellite appellations. While this particular example might not have the depth, concentration and tannin structure of the Grand Cru Classés, it delivered regional typicity of right bank Bordeaux with good balance at an affordable price (CAD 34, USD 26 for a magnum on clearance sale).
