Not tasting the sweetness others have commented on. Agree, quite light, almost PN like but still a zin, more elegant. Disagree with the drink-by of 2021, adding at least a few years but will sample again in a couple.

This is the second bottle of this wine and just not a great example of Scott Harvey Zins as it's very light bodied without a lot of Zinfandel fruit characteristics or spice. Have had the 13' and 14' Scott Harvey "Winemakers Reserve" bottlings and they were far and above much better than this "Mountain Selection". Not a rebuy for me.

Garnet-tinged crimson. Nutmeg and crushed, dirty strawberry nose. Light to medium bodied, cranberries, pepper, cherries, well integrated tannins, decent acid, and a medium to long finish with a little bit of candy. Kind of light, but still very good.

Very light bodied with fine tannins. Better after at least a 1/2 hour. Sharper on front palate, richer and more berry fullness in mid to rear palate. Great with burgers and Munster cheese.

Light bodied highly concentrated Zin. Plums, Earth, sage and beef jerky aromas. Chocolate covered cherries, plums and cranberry flavors. Long finish.
