Pop and pour. On the nose: spice, smoke, candied pomegranate molasses. On the palate: cool red fruit, smoke, spice, bitter herbs, grapefruit pith and attenuated tannin on the finish. Will follow. Good right now.

Followed pattern of recent TNs below. Wine was fairly linear and rather light, yet also gassy after PNP. It opened up over course of 120 minutes. The wine improved considerably on day 2 with more presence, complexity, longer, more interesting finish. At this price there are many better PG bottlings.

PnP; wonderful nose of strawberry, melon, pear, much later a little ester like chem note creeping in; flavors the same up front then becoming herbal, as in tarragon, mild sage; full bodied( esp compared to a 2011 NSG 1er cru 2 nights ago); sl hot long finish with good complexity to the end. One of the most interesting PG's I've have in more than 6 yrs

We pnp'd at lunch. Red fruit on the nose. The palate was raspberry, strawberry, a touch of currant and a little spice. Finish was moderate.
