  Deep gold. Toast, roasted nuts - classic aged Hunter white nose; still lively on the palate, good firm lime acid spine, oily in texture and medium-plus bodied, buttered toast, honey. Pulled this out as I thought it was a good chance to be over the hill (cork soaked, mold on top of cork) but no...this was glorious, and in better shape than the 1993 Vat 1 opened a few months ago. Feels like it will hold indefinitely, crackling with energy.
