A little bit to smooth. No tannins left what so ever. It does come across aged but for me it was lacking something. I expected more from this producer but it might be the vintage.

Drank over 3 nights. On night 1, with 1 hour in the decanter, it was borderline un-drinkable with a metallic flavor taste on the palate. Much better on night 2 and this bottle rocked on night 3. I see why steakhouses don't sell young Barolo - I was hoping this wine had not shut down yet but I was wrong.
The prior taster obviously enjoyed this (as did I on night 3) but you are wasting your money if you drink this wine now. Notes from night 3 - medium red color with no sediment. Beautiful nose - rose petals, cedar, sweet cherry (sign of young age), cherry, sour cherry & menthol. On palate, medium body, sweet cherry, sour cherry with sweet tannins. Medium+ acidity & long finsh. Will buy some more to cellar for 2020+ 92-93+ with 3+ years of bottle age. [edit] Left bottle in cellar and tried 5 nights later - this was still drinking well. Give this some age and you will be rewarded!
This is a very special single vineyard Barolo! Explosive exotic fruits, like mango, strikes the nose as well as roses, cherries, spices and liqurice. Very smooth tannins on the palate and beautiful complex flavours of mango, roses, dark fruit and cinnamon. A perfectly balanced wine to enjoy alone or with food.

Surprisingly soft with a mix of black currant and strawberries along with hints of cow barn.
