  • This may have been fairly good a few years ago but time has not been kind. Mid yellow verging on gold. Advanced nose with slight petrol, apple juice, yellow peach. Touch of sugar on the palate, I'd say 3-4g residual. Unfortunately the acidity just isn't there to balance the wine and it feels flabby and apple juice-like. The fruit seems strong and there's decent concentration, making me think this was a nice bottle that I left in the rack for far too long. 12% ABV

  • The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon, peach, mango, stoniness and mineral. It tastes like apricot, peach, mango, stoniness and honeysuckle. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. The finish has a pleasing and surprising kick, almost as if there were a touch of carbonation.

  • Semi sweet and almost fizzy. Citrus and marmalade on the nose, with some fresh orange zest as well. Really interesting texture with lush, rich mouthfeel. Lime on the palate with bitter orange with a nutty lingering finish. The sweetness is balanced by typical Riesling zingy acidity, but it might be a tad lacking in this department for most food pairings. Makes a fancy, lush, and interesting aperitif.

  • A balanced blend of citrus (tangerine), stone fruit (nectarine) and slate. Medium acidity & minerality, off-dry (drier for my palate than the back label indicates). Drink now through its 10th birthday.

  • Tasty, fresh, fruity, with a steely minerality which is more Rheingau than Mosel. Young but promising! Great with food.
