Opened last night. Golden-yellow. Nose is fine: mostly apple fruit, just beginning to show secondary notes of lambswool. Pretty in spades. Very crisp, lots of acid, but it can't hide the obvious fruit. I thought I had more than a single bottle, but I didn't, so I wish I would have waited on this, as it should be glorious in another 5-7 years. Even now, it is showing nicely, if quite young. 5-12-17-9: 93/100. May turn out even better down the road.

This stunner is drinking really nice right now. Fine reduction with nice citrus notes at first. Later on more tertiary flavors while always having a very strong but pleasant minerality and acidity

DAY 1 Served with the Vinloq System 👃Smoky with grapefruit & peach, florals, wet stones, & funky yeast notes. Nice 👅Dusty stones, lime & grapefruit. Salty, dry finish. Elegant
The remaining wine was "Slow Decanted" in my refrigerator
DAY 12 👃Musky, citrus & stones 👅lntense with a long finish that is smoky, candied, stony & dry. Nice acidity. Lovely & easy to drink
Tim Frohlich says his goal is to make wines of finesse & elegance. This 2015 Felsenberg succeeds on that and delivers more

Similar to last tasting note with crisp acidity, stone fruit and some additional smokiness. Excellent!
