  One small glass consumed over 30 minutes, most of the bottle left for future evenings. Smooth, with slightly jammy black currant/blackberry notes, dark chocolate, and hints of toffee and tobacco. Showing just a touch sweet/ripe, but with noticeable acidity and not much heat. A fine showing for an "off year" single quinta wine at 15 years of age.
