Opened with red fruits and floral notes. Beautiful garnet color. Red raspberries and some strawberry with nice structure and a bit of smokes/spice. Reminded me of a young CdP, with Grenache dominant. Can't be sure of the blend ratio since really, I don't even know who made it (info on Foggy Veil less than transparent). Still, just glad Trader Joe's delivered the bargain and wish I had bought a couple more bottles.

Trader Joe's Wines (Jeff K's): A run away winner for WOTN. 75% Syrah/25% Grenache. Purple/ruby in color. The nose has black raspberries, some pepper, and some spice. On the palate, there is some weight to this wine. Medium to full bodied. Good black raspberry fruit and some black cherries on the palate. Some tannins. Good balance. Good finish. I did not get the pricing, but given that all the wines were under $20 and many under $10, this is a good value. Almost everyone's WOTN, and if not, then their #2.

Just not impressed. Disjointed and somewhat rough, not much middle..
