Definitely not my style of chardonnay. High alcohol and very oak influenced with vanilla and caramel, buttery style. Creaminess, roundness. Nice acidity. Reminds me of the big bold napa style chards that I am not fond of. Not the same thickness as napa chards.

Got to give this wine 95 points. This is one of the best Chardonnay I had in the past year. Still young, very complex...but not yet fully integrated. This should still improve over the next few years. Oak is more present than in the 2016, but it's very refined and well balanced. Long finish. Bravo!

Always impressive. Much more exuberent and « new world » in style than the 2016...without being heavy or overly oaky. Great buy...drink now or cellar for another 5 years.

This is my favourite vintage of Painted Rock Chardonnay. The nose is super expressive with some exotic fruit/oaky aromas. Even though its a big Chardonnay, the palate is very balanced and refreshing. Will keep my remaining 3 bottles for a few more years without any problems.

Crazy good. Super fresh and very aromatic with fruity and toasty aromas. This is still very young and can be cellared for at least 5 years.
