  • With Larissa and Darryl. This whisky was light in colour and offered apple, pear, ripe banana, smoke, charred wood, liquorice, mild medicinal notes, seaweed and a sea breeze component on the nose. On the palate the whisky was fruity, with apple, pear, a hint of banana, charred wood and maritime notes which left a salty impression. The medium- to light-bodied whisky was very balanced, the harmonious alcohol was integrated perfectly, with incredible length. This Dun Bheagan 10 was smokier and much more harmonious than the regular 12 Years Old, and drank very well. A lovely drink! Spectacular QPR. We liked it a lot! Body 5/10, Smoke 5/10, Sweetness 3/10.
