  This wine is made very well. On corking beautiful tartrate crystals cling to the cork. Needs a few to open up... revealing a slightly bigger wine than I expected... however, not as complex as I had hoped. (Which is often what I find with cab franc blends) however it’s a beautiful food wine and you can tell the fruit was great. Good tannins from what to me seems both American and French oak. Great mouth feel. Just didn’t present the subtle complexities I was lusting after today. However serve up some hearty meat and I think it’s solid pairing.
