  deep- garnet, plenty of fruit, some black plum more than currant but more red fruit: raspberry coulis/paste, bitter chocolate and a hint of mint and spice, also some new oaky notes still there but receding as the wine opened up. The palate has a soft fleshy almost plush texture, lots of rich chocolate mocha notes with more spice and surprisingly sumptuous, as tannins have resolved. Very drinkable
