WineAustralia Expo 2006 (Darling Harbour): Brokenwood’s 04 Mistress Block Shiraz has a powerful plummy nose of spice and a little pepper, a mid-weight but rounded palate, strong yet fine tannins, and a persistent well-balanced finish. I like this very much.

Gentle, berries and wooden furniture, subtle but fine nose. Very pleasant. I've read that the 2004 should be drunk young and would concur.

Blackberry, cherry and oak aromas. Palate is well balanced and has some savoury complexity.
