Adventures in Peru; 8/25/2018-9/3/2018 (Peru): This is the third and by far the best of the three Chilean wines that I had. Oak, honey, and a little earthiness on the nose. The Concha y Toro has a nice gravely texture. Good acidity. However, the winemaker overdid it on the oak. It reminds me of California Chardonnays of a decade ago. A decent effort for a Chilean Chardonnay, but not something I would drink again.
