Absolutely delicious and completely enjoyable. Dark cherry predominantly, some forest floor and hints of vanilla in both nose and mouth. Smooth, long finish in perfect drinking shape now. I wouldn’t hold long

We opened three hours before dinner and decanted half of it.. The nose was red fruit with a hint of clove. The palate was dark cherry, red plums, a hint of sweet tobacco and a touch of vanilla. The finish was long and smooth. Served with oven roasted salmon and acorn squash. I still think it is overpriced.

A great way to begin 2021. This Pinot is a perfect balance of dark fruits with a touch of refinement. One of the best Pinots I have had in over a year.

Well over the past few weeks at home we have tried all three of the 2014 Peter Michaels pinot noirs. As I previously wrote the Danuse and the Caprice while decent wines were poor QPRs. This wine was the best of the three by far. We opened three hours before dinner and did not decant. The nose was red fruit with hints of vanilla. The palate was dark cherry, hints of raspberry, red plums, and a touch of vanilla. The finish was long. Is it worth the release price of $130. I do not know but it is a really good bottle of wine and a much better QPR than its two siblings. I am happy to have a few more in the cellar.
