Seven (7) years removed since last visit. Not much to add from prior observations. Just a beautifully constructed wine. Expressive aromas of orchard and tropical fruits are joined with subtle notes of white flower, dairy and vanilla. Provides sublime presence on the palate. Rich fruit is deftly countered with lively acidity leading to long lip-smacking finish. Gorgeous effort. Drink up.

Lt-med yellow. Tropical fruit --pineapples, grapefruit. Fairly viscous- full-bodied. Wood in nice harmony with fruit and alcohol. Great example of a decade old top-flight CA Chardonnay.

Golden yellow. Honey, peach, melon, ripe apples with a rich and balanced finish. You get more pineapple as it warms up from 44 degrees. Upon opening not a big nose, but it does really sing

Excellent. Super fragrant on the nose, with layered notes of lime and honeycomb that carry over to the palate. So much depth to this. Long, long finish.

Like most Aubert Chards, it needs a bit of time, and some warmth. Cold is OK, cellar better, and room temp is where it starts to shine. Lemon zest and shiny of jasmine on the nose. Full bodied and a full mouthfeel, but may fade from here drinking in magnum mode, it is probably near its peak. Some hints of apricot and the start of a bit of vanilla or caramel as it is approaching 10 years. Good wine, but I prefer the CIX and Coast vines.
