Used as a cooking wine w/prime rib recipe. Had a glass w/what was left from the bottle. Nose of cherry and light earth, a soft, kind of flabby pinot at this point. No reason to hang onto, but a good value at $12 or so at Fred Meyer.

Very nice nose of cherry, and only slight wiff of earth...unlike many Oregon pinots. A smooth, almost elegant wine, soft tannins for such a warm vintage...and fantastic value for $11 & change. 2nd day did not note any improvement in the flavor profile. A solid wine, and outstanding value in Oregon pinot noir.

Very dry with strong btie from start to finish. Smell of cherry and a hint of cedar. Past it's prime and I'll use the rest for a marinade.
