Basic easy red. Leather and mild fruit on nose. Medium body. Spice and fruit with medium mouth feel. Not Layered and a bit of heat. Good tasting. Won't likely hold up to food... maybe good with cheese or pasta.

Easy drinking. Balanced, ripe, darker fruit profile, with subtle, earthy, savory nuances. Medium body, with soft tannins and friendly acid. A simple, enjoyable, Italian table wine, easy to thoughtlessly enjoy with or without food.

Yet another vintage of this simple, quaffable bistro wine consumed at my favorite Italian restaurant Edos Squid in the heart of The Fan. Paired with rare duck breast and veal Marsala, this vintage as with most offered up plums, cranberries, smooth soft and most of all quaffable served in juice size wine glasses as this d'Abruzzo is meant to be drank sooner than later.

Gambero Rosso Singapore 2017. Sniff, sip, spit. Only impressions. Red plums, slight hints of animal and earth. Some easy drinking but feels rather thin. Just slightly rustic.
