Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of camphor, talc, yellow pears and yellow apples. Flavors of cream, yellow pears and yellow apples. Medium acidity, full bodied. Drink now.

Popped and poured. Was a little sweet when I opened it. Put it in the fridge and forgot about it for three days. It was really lovely. Orchard fruit, cashews, a little floral accents on the nose. The wine itself is light golden, quite full bodied, slightly noticeable oak, but pretty well integrated. Overall quite good. Fully mature so I would drink up in the next couple years.

Rich and creamy, with a long finish. I had this alongside a 2018 Domaine Moreau & Fille Petit Chablis Eléonore Moreau Peregrination and to compare the 2, the Paul Hobbs was a darker golden color, and much less acidic.

An interesting chardonnay for sure. Rich gold in color. First aroma on the nose is of white flowers. On the palate, floral notes with peach, transitioning to pineapple along the extended finish, with a sweet hint of vanilla lingering throughout. A bold wine.

I thought I had lost this bottle, as it was misplaced in my cellar. But I found while looking for something else, and ended up bringing it to dinner with some wine friends. It was drinking great, everyone loved the style. Low oak, and very refreshing.
